My name is Mrs. Tanya Klug. I am here to learn. I am a high school history teacher orignally from Los Angeles, California. Now I reside in Fort Hood, Texas. I was a medic in the United States Army. I actually have Russian and Czech Ancestry. I must say my Czech is more developed then my Russian even though I am not very good at either to be honest. I found your site because my 8 year old daughter is a ballerina. This year will be her second year dancing in the Nutcracker as a guest for Ballet Renee Company. For school she has to do a project called the "Pursuit of Passion," where she has to give a presentation on how she will pursue her passion in ballet. Well my Russian cousin and I have a mutual Russian friend, whose twin sister was a professional ballerina at the Mariinsky-Kirov Ballet. Well she speaks very little English and my daughter would like to ask her some interview questions for her school project by e-mail so we may need some help writing the questions the right way in Russian. (And of course in Cyrillic and not transliteration, which is how we usually sometimes communicate on the web from time to time.) My daughter, may also like to write the Mariinsky Ballet also, so see if they would send her some information. Like Brochures and things about the Ballet Company. We would deffinately not be able to write a professional letter without a lot of help. But we may be able to write them in English. They may have contacts in the United States since ballet compaines of this stature travel extensively. We would like to try that so we would possibly get a reply in English. I could not read Russian if not. Well I hope to learn a lot. I have enquired to take Russian in school, but unfortunately at my local college it was unvailable at this time.
