    Hi, Ian!
How long time have you been studying Russian language? You write with almost no mistakes.
My name is Constantin and I'm Russian. I learn English in my spare time.

    Some corrections:

Hi, Ian! Nice to meet you. Welcome to the forum.

Constantin, you forgot to correct some more mistakes:

    Note: по-русски, по-английски, по-испански и т.д. do not have the final й! It's a typical mistake of foreign learners.
    Compare: Я русский, but: Я говорю по-русски.

Ian, please don't take it personally, it is a common practice to correct all the mistakes at this forum.

Some more comment: you are free to choose any Russian name you like, so it's OK if you prefer to be called Иван. Just for your information: in Russian texts the name Ian is normally transliterated as Айан (if you did not know).

Which texts would these be? I've never seen it transliterated that way. I've seen Иан, Йен, Иэн, Ян, and I think one of my Russian visas has it as Ен, but never Айан.

Sorry, that's my fault! I've just checked the pronunciation of Ian. Actually, it is pronounced like EE-un. I did not know, I thought it was pronounced I-un (rhyming with "lion"). That's why I transliterated it that way.
