Давным-давно на Святой Руси жила красная а злая дева. Она хотела быть царицой, но знала, что копда время пришла царевич бы никогда не женится на злой деве. И так как луна красная а злая дева скрывала свое тёмное лицо от мира. Когда время пришла царевич поженился на злой деве. Ho kогда он стал царем слава Божу! злая жена не может осуществлять свои худые планы потому что она была ловённа с свой святой репутацией.

Long ago, in Holy Russia, there lived a beuatiful but wicked maiden. She wanted to be empress, but knew that when the time came, the tsarevich would never marry a wicked girl. And so, like the moon, she concealed her dark side from the world. When the time came, the emperor's son married the wicked girl. But when her husband became emperor, heaven be praised! she could not carry out her evil designs because she was trapped by her own saintly reputation.

Злая жена тогда пыталась открыть её истинный характер мало-по-малу. Вначале была удачна, но наконец внушала отврашение. И так царь послал её жить одна на лесном домике. Но Бог из милости дал к ней новый и очень чувствительный нос. С новым носом могла находить пишу, и избегать опастных зверей.

How do you say in Russian: The evil wife then tried to reveal her true character little by little. At first she was succesful, but eventually she caused disgust. And so the emperor sent her to live by herself in a woodland cottage. But God in his mercy gave her a new and very sensitive nose. With the new nose she could find food and avoid dangerous wild animals.

Злая жена потом пыталась открыть свой истинный характер мало-по-малу. Вначале она преуспевала, но наконец стала внушать отвращение. И тогда царь послал её жить одной в лесном домике. Но Бог из милости дал ей новый и очень чувствительный нос. С новым носом она могла находить пищу, и избегать опасных диких зверей.

Thanks, Cute Shark. I like the way you have used different colours to distinguish between optional and essential corrections. CoffeCup may have done the same, but I didn't get it.

Well, they are all essential, actually. I used red when your choice of the word was right, but there was a mistake in spelling or in the choice of a form. And I used blue when I replaced your words with correct one or more suitable. I haven't learnt the right system of correction yet.

I understand. What you refer to as more suitable is what I meant, speaking loosely, as optional. And i don't know the correct way to correct either:

"And I used blue when I replaced your words with THE correct or more suitable ones" [word order].
