Re: How do you Say bumper cars in Russian?

The last time I rode one was when I was about 12 y.o., which is to say, a long, long time ago. I think that the ride as a whole (that is, all cars and the building collectively) was officially called "Автодром", but what they called the individual cars, I have no idea. My friends and I called them just "машинки" — "пойдём на машинках покатаемся". But in other cities kids could call them something else. Heck, even in our city, other kids could call them something else. I don't know. And to complicate things even more, some amusement parks today tend to give the old rides new names.
