    affected

I know that the verb affect is влиять and the structure of his usage:
    влиять на + Винительный
My problem is to understand how I will translate an expression that includes a passive form of this verb:
"The prices of apartments were affected more from the crisis than the prices of houses due to the increased interest of investors from China" (i.e. this means that the prices of aparments were decreased more)
Чем больше слов, тем меньше они стоят.

Из-за повышенного интереса китайских инвесторов кризис повлиял на цены квартир сильнее, чем на цены домов.

No passive. Sometimes word-by-word translation is impossible.

Or "... цены на квартиры подверглись влиянию кризиса в большей степени, чем цены на дома."
"Россия для русских" - это неправильно. Остальные-то чем лучше?

Цены на квартиры от кризиса пострадали больше, чем цены на дома из-за повышенного интереса инвесторов из Китая.

were affected = пострадали (in figurative sense), были затронуты

В связи с кризисом цены на квартиры были затронуты больше, чем цены на дома из-за повышенного интереса инвесторов из Китая.

    That's almost a literal translation.
