I was just listening to Garbage, who happen to be my favorite band. I listen to all kinds of things. Techno, metal, VERY VERY little rap (for instance, TLC is on now ), rock, etc. What do you listen to? What do you hate? :O

I listen to a dozen Руки Вверх songs and they didnt sound anything like it.

I havent yet finished with rosetta stone and my russian isnt yet good enough
to write down some lyrics and google for them. I was hoping somebody could
help with that.

I forgot who made it but its some losers... BUT Russkiy razmer Made a parody of this song and it IS in russian and its really kickаss so if you want to hear it ill find some way to get it to anyone who wants it. I'll do anything to spread Russkiy Razmer to the people!!

I can't believe your still obsessed with Russkiy Razmer....but thats ok. Well, every CD I have ever owned since I was like 10 got stolen out of my car 2 months ago. Now, pretty much all my new CD's are techno/trance with the exception of a few old CD's which were laying around my car and didn't get stolen such as: one Nelly CD, Coldplay, a really old Sarah Mcglauclain CD (who is my all time favorite female artist).
There is some good Russian techno that I have heard, but I don't know any names off the top of my head. The Russian techno seems to be faster. Personally, I like DJ Tiesto, Van Dyke, BT, ATB, Oakenfold...just to name a few.

if you want to listen to the same kind of europop garbage but sung in russian, try to find some ruki vverh of course, sveta, akula, virus, russkiy razmer...

for real good music, yanka dyagileva, ddt, some lube, egor letov, faktor dva will make it.

fans of metal will listen to the cheesy arya.

Well, I must respond to this imortant topic since I have found someone else who likes Garbage. Great band. I had two of their CD's ( don't know how many they made) but one of them has been missing since I gave a ride to California, to this young buckaroo (cowboy) I was working with. I think the little bastard swiped it along with the $50 he stiffed me for. Bet 'ya didn't know cowboy types listened to that sort of music!! Garbage, also seems to be quite popular in Australia, according to my sister who recently arrived from there!

Ok, I wander if we are thinking of the same "Garbage". If so, I bought their CD like 8 years ago, no kidding...I was 13 when I got it. The one with "I'm only happy when it rains", and "stupid girl". I played the CD until I got sick of it, and knowone else seemed to know about them. Now all the sudden I am hearing those two songs come on the radio...crazy. Maybe we aren't thinking of the same band though.

Oh yeah, it's the same band! There is not a bad track on either CD. One of the few bands that write songs in which the lyrics interest me. Miss Manson really is a bad girl, isn't she? I suppose you know, I hate poetry.

are there any good russkiy rock bands out there? The only russian music i can find online is by the likes of meladze, taty, RR (sorry dogboy, I tried to like it )and via gra...none of which are my thing at all.
