    Latin

Does anyone here study Latin? I'm just starting Level 2 Latin and it's so much fun, I'm using Cambridge Latin Course Unit 3 North American 4th Edition, has anyone else used this book? The stories in it are so morbid!

I study Latin and I find it interesting. But, of course, I'm not using that book...
In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.

    Hi!

All my knowledges of Latin compose several words and phrases.

I have found two texts of the songs (which I like very much) and the translation in English. I am not sure if the translation (and the originals) seem correct.
Would you look through it and tell me if both are correct, please?

    Thank you!

    Here is the text:

Alum dare id Hephaestus, id ire fundi
    fati virum, omni brachium
    pulchris profundis, infernarum servi fati
    Impoteo Infernarum
    ’ooo’ pulchris infernarum profundis
    Impoteo, impoteo fati

    Impoteo Infernarum
alum dare, orire, id Hephaestus, id ire,
    pro profundis fati,
    pro pulchris infernarum profundis
    pro pulchris omni fati brachium
    pulchris profundis infernarum servi fati
    profundis, profundis fati
alum dare, orire id Hephaestus, id ire
    pro profundis fati.

Give him food to Vulcan, Go deep to him
to the oracle responsible of everything
to the beautiful deep hell of the servant of fate
    Stinking Hell
    to the beautiful deep hell
    Stinking, Stinking fate

    Stinking hell
Give food, Born, Go to him, to Vulcan
    trought the deep fate
    trought the beautiful deep hell
throught the beautiful responsible of all fate
beautifull deep hell of servants of fate
    to the deep deep fate
Give food, Born, Go to him, to Vulcan
    trought the deep fate.

    The second song:

    Enses requirimus saevos nos,
    nos ferrei reges servi fati,
    morta ex terra mortiferra tela
    in hostes bello ad moventes.
    Equos frenamus furentes
    Capi ta superba quatientes
    mortem hostibus et luctem date
    acrem di manes sternadis.
    Ave Nevis, ave ferrum,
    Ave tela, ave cruor
    Ave pugna, ave moritur.
    Skylon!

We look to Swords to save us,
We, servants of fate, bring kings
Death by (from) weapons, a deadly web
Among (in) the enemy, [given] through war by the warriors (those who move)
    We bridle the furious knights
The great one captures the fearful (those who shake),
Give death and mourning to the enemies!
The hands of God cut down the fallen (those laid low)
    Hail Nevis, Hail Steel,
    Hail Spear, Hail Agony,
    Hail Battle, Hail Death!
    Skylon!
    Я так думаю.
