Thread: Должен и присутствовать

Please, two questions, one to confirm and the other to throw some light in darkness (waw!)
1) Должен . I hear in the tape pronounced almost Доoжен or Дожен. In a book on Phonetics I see that л at the end of words (and syllables, I assume), is pronounced rather dark. It fits with what I hear, however it is not mentioned in the common of books.
2) прис

Ангоязычные люди тоже сокращают слова, как например "want to" => "wanna"

I am not a native Russian speaker and присутствовать isn't hard.

1. I don't know how Russians say it, they probably do drop a consonant.
