No, this is not right. It should be pronounced as: Oktyabr

Is it something you listened to once or several times because it's possible that you could have misheard. It should sound something like this.
De gustibus et coloribus non disputandum.

Spiderkat, your recording isn't bad but you don't pronounce 'ь' at the end of the word Октябрь. You should soften the letter 'р'.
