Thread: How to say October...

I heard an audio clip of October, and it sounded like it was pronounced:

tabr without the (ok)

Is this right? Perhaps somone could record it for me please?

No, this is not right. It should be pronounced as: Oktyabr

I'll probably make a recording for you a bit later. I just don't have my mic close at hand at the moment.

Is it something you listened to once or several times because it's possible that you could have misheard. It should sound something like this.

Spiderkat, your recording isn't bad but you don't pronounce 'ь' at the end of the word Октябрь. You should soften the letter 'р'.
