Looking for penpals can be easy and hard. If your post is read by people who are interested and something is interesting in your post they will reply. Other may have already found their penpals. You should also search for such posts and reply. There were heaps of offers on this forum from the Russian speakers too.

If you are not registered and don't leave your email address, how do you expect to be contacted? By posting here? You will get no notificiation if you don't subscribe to threads where you post your messages. If you leave your email address as is in the post you are inviting spammers to attack your mailbox. Replace "@" with AT and "." with DOT, people will be able to read it.

Why don't you respond to other posts? First you can search for others who have posted offers and match your interests. Register on the forum, post a friendly message with your interests and subscribe to it (check notify me box). You may get an answer much later, refresh the thread by posting again in a little while. There are heaps of other language exchange, penpals sites, if you have no luck on this forum.

I sent messages to about 10 people on the penpal section of the site who were English learning Russian. I sent them abour four days ago but none of them have replied yet...

Penpal section no worky.

I have gotten penpals from this section, so it works sometimes.
