Thread: Hello from the UK

I love this forum and hopefully I'll learn a lot from it.

A little about myself . . . . . . .

I have been learning Russian for about 6 months. My teacher lives in Ukraine, I live in the UK. We speak once a week over the internet. My problem is I don't get a chance to practice with anyone as I don't know anyone who speaks Russian, which I feel is slowing my progress.

I work as a professional magician. I have traveled to Belarus 3 times over the past couple of years for a week at a time performing magic and balloon modelling shows for children in orphanages and hospitals, each time I've been I've hired a translator.

I'm going back again on 30th April for a 28 day tour, and this time I want to learn and speak as much Russian as I can. I use Skype and Hotmail.
