Looping is correct. It is also sometimes called "post dubbing." By way, doing the same in a post production context for non-speech sounds is "foley" work done by "foley artists."

This has nothing to do with the insertion of a catheter into one's penis, by the way. That's a different sort of "foley" and it would be best not to confuse the two.
