Thread: Winnie-the-Pooh (question to the natives)

Several days ago I found that last word of famous bear name has ... questionable english meanings: https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/pooh
Well, in russian translation his name was just transliterated to 'Винни-Пух' and word 'пух' ('fluff/feather' literally) is some kind of organic for teddy bear.
But in english tradition... well, AFAIK words 'pee' and 'poo' are early known by children.
So... What is true perception of this teddy bear's name for the natives? Does it includes comic element of 'pooh' in 'smelly' meanings?

Не ну я тоже могу написать сказку Лысик Кхер и сказать, что Кхер это просто покашливание главного героя (да и в тексте обосновать).
Но как человек русский я же понимаю, что аналогии неизбежны.
Поэтому меня интересует мнение англоязычных от рождения, тех кто учил что такое pee и poo после mom и dad.
