В обычных странах церковь отделена от государства, а в России - от Бога.

    Similiar concepts:

    Что посеешь, то и пожнешь.
    or just plain-old карма!

    what comes around goes around

It is actually the other way around: What goes around comes around.

    full circle, come

Also, go full circle. Complete an entire cycle; return to the original position or condition. For example, After a whole year of debate we have come full circle on this issue. Shakespeare may have originated this expression in King Lear (5:3): “The wheel is come full circle.” A 20th-century idiom with a similar meaning is what goes around comes around, as in I knew if I helped her now, she would help me later—what goes around comes around.

I think we've explained this pretty well and provided several translations, but I just wanted to add that it can have a negative meaning as well. So, if someone steals something, they will have some misfortune befall them, etc.

What goes around comes around... if you commit a bad deed, it will come back to bite you in the end... if you help someone, maybe someone will help you in the same way some day....
