Thank you.
Today I've been to the cinema. is probably the best way of saying it. But you can also say, Today I went to the cinema.
If you said Today I've been in the cinema. whilst still correct, it can suggest you did not see a film but 'popped in' for another reason.
You can also say Today, I've been to the cinema. This would put an emotional emphasis on the sentence by adding the slight pause, so could read more like an announcement, for example. This would be used mainly by authors who want to write an emotion into conversations.
If unsure, read it out loud. If your running out of breath you may need to add more , or . Plus you can hear when there are too many pauses and take some out.
So, both are fine, but leave out the , (pause) if your simply describing what you did today.
I hope that helps rather than hinders!
