No, it's a rather wonderful language, in my opinion. Seriously, what's with all the native English speakers bashing their own language? My point was that if English really does have more homophones than other European languages, it could be one reason for keeping spelling the way it is.

BTW, TheAmerican, are you interested in learning Russian?

Yes im very intrested in learning russian.

I do think english is very nice, but I understand how the non-native english speakers feel. To me its normal and nice. But it has some problems.

Every language has some problems. English's most obvious ones are its spelling and articles, but they aren't that bad. I do think you'd agree that once you've become accustomed to English spelling, it's not so hard. I don't think foreign learners of English have to learn the pronunciation of each new English word they encounter. Russian seems to have 3,000,000 different style rules that you must learn one by one in order to not sound like an idiot when you write things.

    2TheAmerican,

What's with? I see from your posts that you have problems spelling even English. I am a pretty hard-nosed individual who swears by the gawdawful rules of English spelling. I know that a spell checker would never pick up "I still have along way" but still, I hope this is just a high-school error, or a typo with the spacebar. Also-- there is a problem in your sig, please check it.

I know theres supposed to be a space. It was just a careless error. I dont know if your like me, but when I have only had 2 hours of sleep it the last 2 days, I dont worry about spelling too much. If you want to fix this sentence for me feel free. If you wish you may keep telling me how bad my grammer is, but for now im going to bed.
