    Sugared Water

What's sugared water? Is it "газировка" or something else?
    Thanks.

I don't think so. I'd assume it's simply sugar and water mixed together. I guess you'd just use it to introduce sugar through a liquid method. I'm trying hard to think what that would be for though. Some sort of medical thing I suppose. Also, people will sometimes say something like "What is this, sugar water?" to describe something that's extremely sweet. For example, if I give you a glass of tea with 8 spoons of sugar in it, you might say that.

Oh, I see. Probably it was said sarcastically (according to the context it was obviously some manufactured drink).
I've thought about "газировка" because "sugared water" is almost literal translation of how people called it in Crimea when I was a kid ("сладкая вода").

    Here's an example:

In 1983, Jobs lured John Sculley away from Pepsi-Cola, to serve as Apple's CEO, challenging him, "Do you want to spend the rest of your life selling sugared water, or do you want to change the world?"

Yes, "sugar water" = "Dextrose", which is used in medical treatments, to give water and energy directly to a sick person, especially if they can't eat. In medical shows, the IV (intravenous) bag that usually hangs above a patient, and connected to the arm... this is often Dextrose (sugar water).

Also, in bartending, sugar water is often called "simple syrup" and is an important ingredient of many cocktails and drinks.

Also, used in baking and cooking.

What do you mean, "also bartending." Everyone knows that doctors are just bartenders with fancy pieces of paper and lexuses...
