вызывает к себе is just "summon", I think.

The boss's secretary told he he wants to see me in his office".

Thank you! So those sentences should be:

When my boss summons me, I become weak in the knees.
    Summon Ivanov to my office.
He's in the waiting room?.. But I din't summon him!

    Are they okay?

Yeah, both of those are fine. As translationsnmru said though,

When my boss asks to see me, I become weak in the knees
Ask Ivanov to come to my office.
He's in the waiting room?.. But I didn't ask to see him!

Those would also work. The difference between the two is that "summon" is in principle more of an order wheras "ask to see" is in principle more of a request. The reason I say "in principle" is that there is loads of overlap between them, and depending on context or intonation and so on you could easily make "summon" into a request and vice versa.

The boss called John in to his office and gave him a real talking to for his screw-up.
