Everything happens for a reason, it does

-- Don't worry, young Ander, this will work out yet, everything happens for a reason, it does.
-- Thank you much for helping me, Alchelor.

What is "it does" placed here for? I see no sense in this addition.
Alchelor said "it does" quickly, didn't put any emphasis on it...
    Thanks !

(На всё есть причина. На это (она тоже) есть.)

Мне так кажется, во всяком случае.

Только сейчас подумал, что это просто дополнительное утверждение. Что-то вроде Indeed.

Я тоже думаю, что это может быть дополнительное утверждение, надо чтоб нативы сказали.

Просто звучит как-то странно, причем он произнёс это очень "невыразительно", не делая никакой паузы и усиления. Не было перерыва.

Поэтому твой первый вариант вряд ли тот, что верный ^_^

А что там, до этого? Что имеется ввиду под it? Либо это относится к everything, либо к тому this, которое will work... вариантов-то, в принципе, не много. А пауза есть перед it does?

Нет, до этого их разговор узнать нельзя.
Как только герой приближается к ним. он слышит: don't worry young Ander, this will work out yet, everything happens for a reason, it does.

А Андер ему: thank you much for helping me, Alchelor.

Alchelor -- охотник за оборотнями, а Андер -- мальчик, который сумел спастись от оборотня, который напал на их компанию.

Щас я запишу этот кусок в аудиофайл.

правда, это дополнительное утверждение. Старомодно и/или простонародно. Я например, никогда не говорил бы эту фразу кроме как в шутку.

    it относится к everything.

Если это так, то мой самый первый вариант это просто дословный перевод.

    Что-то вроде:
На всё есть причина, поверь (правда, стопудово ).

Спасибо, Chaika! Однако послушайте! Послушайте, как он произносит it does. Разве так произносят утверждение?

    It's semi-parasitic, semi-emphatic.

It adds emphasis, but is not really necessary.

Lol, that sounds like dubbed anime to me. If it is then you will find that they frequently add in bullsh*t phrases to fill up time, eg to make sure they talk the whole time that the characters' mouths are moving etc.

Otherwise, it doesn't sound very natural to me. Maybe if it were emphasised it would be kind of like an extra reassurement. "Everything happends for a reason, believe me, it really does!" kind of thing.

I agree with basuro that the speech does not sound natural. But that's the correct way to use "it does", and also I don't hear anything unusual about the pronunciation of this phrase.

Actually it is a totally native american thing to the bones... Well, even for me it sounded quite unusual, that is why I put so much attention to it.

    Just a couple more examples.

"They won't be watching the roads, not yet, they won't."

"They'll never fit in that trunk. Not like this, they won't"

    (from the movie 'Sin City')

This is probably meant to be something peculiar to the character/

Some people use a lot of useless words in their speech.

E.g. "And I'm like, so like totally annoyed, and he's like, so tottally like laughing".

Children usually say stuff like: "I like football, I do."

Does the word "really" change anything? Like
"I like football, I really do."
Is it still something that one should avoid?

It's not necessarily a bad thing, it's just a simple reinforcment of the fact that you like football so much.

Lol, and that like sh*t is so annoying. I used to talk like that but I trained myself not to.

I'd say "little" ("Who wants to have a little"). Of course, that needs a confirmation by a native.

Speaking of the words-parasites, I personally dislike "you know" the most. It drives me mad when an English speaker says "you know" in every sentence

    Yes, that's what he said.

As for the 'it does', it sounds like something Yoda from Star Wars would say. It would sound odd in normal speech I think, unless you happen to be a wise old guy and then you can speak any way you want.
