Dear Natalie, I think that what you need is a chat. Unfortunately I don't know any, but maybe some other forumers can help? Good luck.

Natalie, ty govorit' po-anglijski mozhesh'? Friendy tol'ko chto tebe chto-to skazal, a kazhetsya chto ty ne ponimaet. Ona skazala chto ona dumaet chto tebe nado 'chat', i ne forum naznachen dlya uchashihsya russkogo yazyka. Prosti.

Pozhalujsta, ishi kakoj-nibud' chatroom dlya russkoyazychnyh lyudej, ili tex kto izuchaet anglijskij yazyk.

Amazing, the damn...forgot the word(it means he's sort of mysterious, but not) Jasper has presented us with a sample of his Russian for analysis!!! Let's begin. One learner to another

    govorit' po-anglijski mozhesh'?
Don't know about you, but the order seems a bit weird to me.

Friendy tol'ko chto tebe chto-to skazal
Order also seems a bit weird, but there is a greater problem in this sentence that would reflect your boorish and ungentlemanly upbringing.

    ty ne ponimaet
Ugly, ugly, ugly. (Joysof, I wish I had a famous quote).

    russkogo
Oy! Maybe I'm just nitpicking, but I believe transliteration should reflect how a language is pronounced.

    kakoj-nibud' chatroom
Strange that you made "chatroom" feminine, though I guess I don't know the gender of it either.

It's written in perfect native way

When Cyrillic being transliterated for Russians (opposing to learners of Russian) its transliterated letters exactly reflect their written Cyrillic counterparts.

Though I agree with Tu-160, I'd like to point out that this is a pretty informal way of speaking. IMHO it has a touch of condescension.

Er? I thought искать was used with the genitive, making какая-нибудь chatroom какой-нибудь. But I'll take your word for it, TU.

About the word order of the sentence, am I right in guessing that the condescension you mentioned was caused by the emphasis on можешь?

Нет, нет, правичушка, I do know some Russian. I was indeed trying to make it sound slightly condescending, as I knew she wouldn't bother reading it (let alone this English piece) and write something completely irrelevant like "waht do you talk about? i no understand!!!1! teach me english i want tak to somone!!1! lolol". I do admit that 'ty ponimaet' is horrendous, though honestly not intended, and I offer my deepest apologies to Friendy for that grave insult. I really mustn't type in translit anymore.

If I may add my input, this sounds an awful lot like what an online translator spits out.

У меня есть translates (via translator) to 'at me is'
Give gather I here? Давайте, собираю я здесь? (Produces the same translation) As far as I know that means... (Come on, I am gathering (information) here.)
    Correct me since I'm wrong.

Exactly. I don't know why she doesn't just write in Russian. Now, if she wrote her English herself it would be commendable etc., now it's just plain useless.

    Natalie,

If you are genuinely interested in learning English as I am at learning Russian then you should respond.

    Dan
I am learning Russian and would like to chat with Russian learning English. It is just a hobby and a goal. I have many interests and enjoy emploring ideas. If you are compatible, let's learn together.
    Thanks
    Dan
