More files added.... and more will come .

more_like_bluesbury_clooney.wav is a special case though. I think can hear what he is saying, but I just can't get the joke. A bit earlier, he said "You look like George Clooney". And now he is saying "More like Bluesbury Clooney" (not sure about spelling though). Is that a pun? Does it mean anything for an American?

KV, I belive I made a fair contribution in MR by translating, checking translations etc back in the day, when almost no one of the today's active users was even registered here . I don't post much these days because someone usually manages to answer before me, and I never post just for the sake of posting.

Thanks. It is the lack of cultural/general knowledge tidbits that often throws me off. Sometimes, even I can hear the sounds correctly, I can't recognize a name, a toponimic, a name of a building etc... and then the entire sentence seems to make no sense.

Okay, I listened to it again... and he is actually saying "you got the idea" :P. This time, it was the context that got me confused. "We got this, we got that, we got that other thing, you got the idea.... "

So am I. I guess their http server is acting up right now. ftp access works though, so I can upload /delete files to and from the server etc.

One more file I would like a "cultural" comment about is yo__yo__yo.wav It its Whoopie Goldberg, and she says something like "Yo ding dong yo ding dong yo"

I realise that it is probably ghetto-speak, but I thought that perhaps that was an allusion to one of well-known movies or songs or something (perhaps one of movies of Whoopi herself...)

OK, well bluesberry is some sort of musical form and I guess he looks like someone who would sing that kind of stuff. The Clooney part is just because he originally said "you look like George Clooney"... I don't really know what he means...

That was what I thought when I heard it for the first time in the show. But when I listened to it again, I could swear I heard "d" in there. Especually after the second "yo" "Dandy"?

Well, it is a well known fact that b's and d's can be easily mixed depending on your mind. A while ago TATY posted a video where if you closed your eyes and listened, it sounded like a 'd', but if you watch the video (of the guy saying the letter) it sounded like a 'b'.

I understand how the last part sounds like 'ding ding', but... I'll stick to my first guess

No, it doesn't, which is exactly the problem. This phrase actually occurs at the beginning of the show, but I didn't post it earlier because I hoped that it would be made clear later in the show...
