    I can't find words

    Hello!

    I am having fun with Groundhog day... Again . And I have a problem. I
    wanna say about morning in the mountains, but I can't pick up the words to
    describe this picture. Maybe someone can help me? A little bit?

    So, that's my description in English. I've finished to write as I realized
    that my vocabular can't afford me to write this kind of texts.

    ==========================================
    She's talked me, that her family has their own house in a cozy place
    located in the mountains. There's a lake near the house. She like go by
    boat on the lake, hear the silence. It's so amazing. Just imagine that...
    Peaks, covered with snow. A silence, beautiful morning, a pipe. Century
    old trees, the clear air. You can't inhale it(???)
    ==========================================

    And this is a description in Russian. I've been written it after I finished
    write an English text.

    /* BTW how should I spell it correct "a description" or "the desciption". I realize, that I talk about the conrete description, but "this is the description" sounds wrong to me
    */
    ==========================================
    Вы только представьте себе! Тихое чудесное утро в горах. Горные пики,
    покрытые шапками снегов... Вековые деревья, ели, сосны. Гладь озера, лодка
    тихо скользит по воде... Пение птиц. И воздух... Чистый горный воздух. Ты
    не можешь надышаться им... До того он сладок. Ты наслаждаешься этим
    моментом, наслаждаешься всей этой красотой вокруг себя и стараешься ощутить
    каждое мгновение этого утра... Продлить состояние безмятежности, покоя и счастья как можно дольше.
    ==========================================

    Astronomer, your English text is good. Here are my suggested corrections and alternatives:

    She's said to me that her family has their own house in a cozy place located in the mountains. There's a lake near the house. She likes to go by boat on the lake and listen to the silence. It's so amazing. Just imagine that... Peaks/Mountain peaks covered with snow. A silent, beautiful morning, and you smoking a pipe. Century/One-hundred year old trees, and the clear/clean air. (except for your pipe smoke ) You can't inhale it(???) (yeah, the pipe smoke )/Can you see/imagine it?

    Ken, I thank you for the corrections. However, I realized that I make a mistake, when I've been written the text. Of course, I wasn't wanting(?) to say about smoking or something like this. I was wanting to say about the birds' song. And I opened my dictionary, typed the word "пение" and got the following results:

    пение singing; song, pipe ( птиц ); crow(ing) тихое проникновенное пение — ( особ. перед микрофоном ) croon - погребальное пение - хоровое пение

    And I've decided to use the word "pipe". Of course, I've forgot, that a pipe means also "курительная трубка", "музыкальный инструмент" etc.

    Astronomer,

    In the sentence you wrote "a description" does sound better than "the description" but either way is OK. Normally "the" refers to only 1 description. And "a" suggests that this is 1 description but it may not be the only description.

    "I wasn't wanting" and "I was wanting" sound a bit awkward but I do understand these, so they are OK. Maybe "I didn't want" and "I did want" or "I wanted" sound better in your text.

    Maybe: A silent, beautiful morning, a bird chirping and singing.
