Ah. Now this is even more interesting. I've never been to Scandinavia, so can't pass judgement. The opportunity has arisen, though, to spend a week in Trondheim in June. I will, of course, pass on my impressions. It's all about workmanship of course; a good floor is a long-lived (if scuffed) floor. Fancy, short-lived floors you can keep.
