Thread: Can Londoners give me a piece of advice?

Hello! I haven't visited this site for ages! Now it's 90% of certainty that I go to London in the middle of May!
I'll attend a school there and I also want to earn some money in order to give back my parents at least a part of money they have to pay. So, if there are people from London couldn't you tell me something about living in your city? How much money will it take to rent the flat and if it's possible to find a job there?
P.S. Sorry for mistakes, I’m only studing!

I am not a Londoner, but I've been there several times... London is pretty expensive, but I believe you can learn how to leave cheaply. I knew a Londoner who spent all his money on his recording studio while spending only two pounds a day on his lunch. With regards to work, in most countries those on student visas are not allowed to work with a possible exception of some part-time work on campus. Illegal work might be available, but it will be very low pay and I wouldn't recommend getting into this. If nobody gives a better response google for "living in London" or something like that and I am sure you will find tons of information...
