Is there something for that in English?
For example:
- Он такого огромного роста. Сам бог велел, чтобы он играл в баскетбол.

- He's so tall. [???] ...that he would play basketball.
(Maybe "it's only natural that he would..."?)

Yes, this is good. If you want God in this, you might add something like: . . . With his God-given ability it's only natural . . .
