Как по-английски - "наркоман"? Addict Drugs? А если их много - то addicts drugs? Есть какое-нибудь сленговое слово? Narkoman - так говорят?

Confirmation:
Slang:
a junkie, sometimes junky or junkee, a pothead, a crackhead, a cokehead(singular), and junkies, potheads, crackheads, cokeheads (plural)
Formal:
Drug addict (singular) and drug addicts (plural)
Well, I don't know what to say. I want to say thanks to the Academy, to Mama, to Papa and to my dog. I love you all.
I'd like to add that those "slang" terms are pretty rude, while "drug addicts" is the normal word. If you want to be really formal, say "substance abusers."
They're really not so much rude as informal. There's a difference.Originally Posted by challenger

Obviously it's not flattering, but there is a difference between unappealing and offensive/vulgar/rude. It's not at all like calling someone a f*g, a motherf*cker, a c*nt, a pr*ck, etc.

The most common slang word for drug addict that I know of is simply "druggy".
Yep... "druggy" is good slang for me! It works!Originally Posted by basurero

I wasn't trying to compare their rudeness to motherf*cker or anything like that. They aren't vulgar, but at least they're offensive.
"Hi, Dr. Morrison... I'm here for the drug rehabilitation program."
(nods understandingly) "I see, James...when did you become a crackhead?"
