Лезть - to climb, crawl through, meddle in, et al

This is one of the weirdest verbs I have come across. The past tense masculine form is лез/полез--which makes absolutely no sense at all.

Some fixed expressions:
лезть на стену - for being in a state of excitement. Figuratively used it is nearly identical to the English phrase "to be climbing the wall(s)"
лезть в драку - to be contentious or bellicose :)
лезть в петлю - to stick one's neck out (петля means noose in this expression) for someone/something
лезть на глаза - to be annoying to somebody :)

It is a verb of motion, so remember to use the accusative form of the object(s), not the prepositional.

Present active - Лезущий
Present passive - Леземый

Past passive - I really have no fucking clue when anyone would possibly need to describe something as "climbed," or even how this form would be derived from something as weird as Полезть, but I'll just guess and say Полежённый. Someone please correct this.
Present adverbal - Лезя
Past adverbal - Лезши

This form of present passive (леземый) does not exist. In this case we use more long construction.

Present active - "Человек, лезущий по стене"
Present passive - "Стена, по которой лезет человек" (not "Стена, леземая человеком")

The same with past tense.

Past active - "Человек, лезший по стене"
Past passive - "Стена, по которой лез человек"

Yes, I doubt very much that there exist лезомый, леземый or whatever passive participle.

That would explain why I couldn't Google them :)

Ha! Americans can make verbs even from the name of the site "Google"!

I Google, I am Googling, I was Googling, I Googled, very funny!

:) "I Googled" sounds like something an infant would do.

I have been googling all day long. :)

As a child we used the word "goggle" for television, and to goggle, to watch television. I wonder if this was only our family, or if it is a commonly used word...
