I'm going to Ukraine
So, I was planning to write some freelance articles, does anyone have tips about cultural things - or historical sites - that would be worth writing something about?

If you mean mainstream, touristy-type things, I would check out a travel guide like Frommers or Lonely Planet.

How about writing the Ukrain Romantic Movement which was mainly personified by the national poet Taras Shevtshenko and his signification to the Ukrain culture and national identity.

Where are you going in Ukraine? Anywhere?

Pirogovo is a nice outdoor museum not far from Kiev with buildings how they were 300 years ago!

Cool. I might be going to the Ukraine next summer (Lvov specifically) to teach English to Ukrainian students.

Then you better make sure you call it Lviv and not Lvov.
