Thread: Soviet Movie/Cartoon Archive

I recently found a site where you can download old Russian/Soviet movies and cartoons for free without registering (and even without ads ) . http://multiki.arjlover.net I was really surprised that such archive exits. The speed is OK but there are some limits: simultaneously you can download only one stream from each part (there are four parts) and for foreign IPs you can download only from 4 a.m till 10 a.m. Also you may have to wait for a while before it starts or resumes downloading(not more than 20 minutes I think).

P.S.(especially for Lampada ) The movie "Не покидай" is also there.

Actually I did a search before posting it but it returned nothing. This surprised me - such a good site and not mentioned here yet , but most likely the search engine is bad at searching urls.

I just thought I'll up this topic as this site is REALLY great. It's got EVERYTHING (well, all Soviet cartoons, for sure).

Мне помнится, что за океаном с этим сайтом раньше были трудности, не знаю, как сейчас.

Честно предупрежу - для зарубежников возможны проблемы со скоростью и по прежнему рекомендуется качать ночью, 00:00-10:00 по Москве - гаранитируется наибольшая скорость и свободный канал. И налегайте побольше на торрент, для популярных фильмов - скорость скачивания выше, чем с серверов.

... which is to say that the best time to download is at night, from 00:00-10:00, Moscow time.
