Some of my ancestors were Jews from the Russian empire (probably Ukraine/Belarus) who fled to England about a hundred years ago. Their surname was Solomon / Soloman in England but it is quite likely they changed it / anglicised it upon arrival here, as I know they definately changed their first names.
Does the Jewish surname Соломон exist in Russian? I know that Solomon comes from the Hebrew name Shlomo, so does Шломо exist in Russia aswell?

And today the Jews can have this name.
К старым ошибкам добавлена куча новых. Дом имеет две половинки А и Б. Так теперь квартиры с одним номером, но из разных домов, слились в одну и к ним еще кого-то добавили.
