Hello there!
I was having a couple of beers with a friend who knows Russian and he taught me the cyrillic alphabet. I thought "hey, it would be cool to study some Russian". I am brand new to the language and to this forum and so, I say "hello everyone"
Anyway, I checked out the topic http://masterrussian.net/mforum/viewtopic.php?t=7346 and downloaded the Princeton SLA101 course. I kind of browsed through it, read the first lessons and did some listenings. It looks like it is really well written and it will surely be of use. However, does anybody know what happened to Lesson 27? It would be great to have the whole course available somehow (or perhaps that lesson is not essential?)
And another thing, here under Linux I have set things up to make the PC think I am typing with a Russian keyboard and display cyrillic characters correctly. But without the Yandex keyboard emulator it is kind of hard to find out where each letter is. I have been googling around and it seems the alternatives are either keyboard-stickers with Russian characters to stik on my existing keyboard or buying a "true" Russian keyboard. What would you recommend?
Thank you very much in advance. Greetings from Spain.
