Thread: Simple Russian texts for translation practise

I'm looking for simple Russian text, preferably with stress accents, which I can use to improve my reading skills. I'd prefer an internet resource but would also be interested in a book(s).

I've got one of the "Daisy" stories but the other two were illegible.

Look on Lib.ru for some children's stories. Sorry but I can't really be arsed right now to get the one we had a little "class" about. YES, used Brit slang...

I've now been able to answer my own enquiry. I've found a book called "Beginner's Russian Reader" by Lila Pargment publshed by the National Textbook Company, Illinois, USA.

Ths has simple text desgined for translation by beginners.
