Thread: Russian Interactive Fiction games

Hello!

I want to introduce you IF games in Russian. It's that kind of all-the-text adventure games what flourished at 80th and was lost for commerce at start of 90th. But games still written by enthusiasts, so community living and genre tends to progress. In recent years a few of non-English communities appeared and grown up. Russian is one among them.
I think, IF games should be very interesting for people studying foreign languages. There are lot of text in such games and you need to type your commands. They could be easily played with use of translating software. Community is friendly and ready to help you. Most of members started from English IF games, so they also speak English and concern about translation issues.

Thank you! I used to love playing IF games when I was a kid. Yes, that would be a very good way to improve in the language in a fun way.

Actually, I have played a Russian IF game. It was based on the 'Kolobki' cartoon. It was fun and I learned a lot, I think.
