    Question on how to teach.

I got a person who wishes to learn basics, I am a native speaker but I have no teaching experience. I was wondering how would I start, I was thinking of introducing Alphabet 1st with a few words plus some easy phrases. I am in complete darkness as to what needs to be done.

It would be cool if someone with experience point an effective way to go.

Start with the predicatives, they are the basic structure of all russian sentences! That was a joke.

I would start with basic words and conversations. Forget verb conjugations until much later.
Hei, rett norsken min og du er død.
I am a notourriouse misspeller. Be easy on me.
Пожалуйста! Исправляйте мои глупые ошибки (но оставьте умные)!
Yo hablo español mejor que tú.

If I were to teach Russian to somebody, I would do the same.

How about teaching us at The Russian Classroom? We need a teacher there. We are using the New Penguin Russian Course and the materials from Princeton University as our base study material.
