My hovercraft is full of eels!

This is an English joke. It comes from a Monty Python sketch in the 1970's. I can't remember it in full but it was very silly.

Luckily the nice people at Omniglot have included a quick explanation with a link to the video on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6D1YI-41ao and the transcript is at http://orangecow.org/pythonet/sketches/hungry.htm
