I came across the below. Don't know how good it is, but the company's idea of one-on-one learning via skype sounds good. But anyway, they have links to the sources they use for on-line lessons. Not only for beginning Russian, either.

Anybody taking the lessons they are giving? If so, how is it going? Ten dollars an hour seems like a good price.

I have been taking lessons from Skypetutor for 4 weeks. I am very satisified with their service.
I have been trying to learn Russian on my own for several years and have not progressed much beyond words and phrases. I live in a rural area and have not been able to locate an instructor or a Russian speaker so their service has been invaluable to me.
I have had lessons with one instructor (who is no longer teaching online) who I would rate as excellent. Ken the director has placed me with another tutor.
So far I think they are very good and as mentioned the price is more than reasonable.

I have had 2 lessons and am very happy also. The web site isn't really ready yet so that is why I didn't post my opinion yet. The pricing depends on how many lessons are bought. The most is $10 an hour. Email Ken from the site for pricing info.
