    Silly Question

I have never studied Russian and am trying to learn a few phrases for a performance I am in. Not to mention, how fascinating and incredible it seems. I wouldn't mind continuing my learning more seriously in the future.

Anyhow, my question is this: with no one who speaks Russian in sight, how do I learn proper pronunciation? The basic terms I need can be found on the internet (hello, we are, thank you, ect), but the pronunciation seems a bit harder to nail down. Any suggestions?

Thank you for any help you can give.

For getting started you can try the Pimsluer CD's they actually make you pronounce each syllabul of the word. It helps a lot with pronunciation for beginners.
