Thread: Just getting started...

Privet! I am literally just getting started with the Russian language. I have become fascinated with the language, the culture, and the music. I want to learn more! I have tried a CD-Rom called "Unforgettable Languages" which was good for remembering certain words, but I need more help. My pronounciation is horrible and I am a little scared about learning the alphabet!
I am meeting a tutor on Friday to discuss private classes. I just wanted to say hello because I am hoping you all can help me continue my progress with this!

I'm not sure how reassuring this will be, but the alphabet is the least worrisome element. A few hours study will have you on your way - it's basically rote memorization.
