A couple of Pimsleur 1 questions

    Hi,

I've been working through the first Pimsleur audio lessons. Around lesson 14 (I think) something like this appears:-
"сколько у вас русски в денег?"
But in the breakdown of the sentence given just after it, it seems to be pronounced "сколько у вас русских денег?"
Are my ears deceiving me? Which is correct? (possibly neither, of course!)

    And then...

Is it normal in informal conversation to ask"Вы можете пить вместе со мной?" Or would it sound more normal to ask " Вы можете пить со мной?"

    Thanks all!

    Rich B

"сколько у вас русских денег?" is right
"Вы можете пить вместе со мной?"
"Вы можете пить со мной?" The last two while grammatically correct sound clumsy to a Russian ear. One would more likely say «Не хотите (желаете) ли выпить со мной»?
    «Выпьете»?
    «Как насчёт выпить»?
    «Может выпьем»,
And the one from the famous story by Михаил Зощенко: «Не желаете ли трахнуть, по маленькой»?

    Okay,
I'm not surprised they are a bit clumsy. So putting "вместе" in any of these sentences is not really necessary then?

just ask Сколько у вас рублей? (How much roubles have you got?) Русские деньги теперь уже только рубли, копейки никто не считает.

Thanks alexsms, and yes, nobody bothers with pennies here, either!

"сколько у вас русски в денег?" sounds like nonsense; to me that would say something like "do you have any russian in the money"... It's just that I swear it sounds like that when they say it on the Pimsleur CD. Would "сколько у вас русских денег?" ever sound like "сколько у вас русски в денег?", or should I just get my ears waxed?

"сколько у вас русских денег?" - only this is possible. Maybe pronounced not properly.
