Let me be a free man, free to travel, free to stop, free to work, free to trade where I choose, free to choose my own teachers, free to follow the religion of my fathers, free to talk, think and act for myself. - Chief Joseph, Nez Perce

"С чий очи сънувам, чий е този лик обречен?
Смъртен глас ми се причува и отеква с вик далечен
Как да зърна да погледна, чуждий образ да прегърна,
на лицето ми студено грях в надежда да превърна.."
If you realy want to type russian letters, you must use your keyboard for it. Buy stickers or keyboard with russian letters.
Please, can You correct, if I have made mistakes.
yeah but stickers on my keyboard wont magically change the letters on the screen into russian
Darren, are you on Windows XP? If so, you just have to add Russian to your keyboard languages by right clicking on the icon in the lower right hand corner, select Russian, and click "add".
You switch between languages by using the shortcut "ALT+ shift" (and I even think you can change the shortcut somehow, but I don't remember how that's done offhand....)
But you WILL need the stickers as well, otherwise you'll need a lot of patience learning to type.....
HTH, good luck.
Ой, голова у меня кружится |-P ...... and my brain hurts too....
Just got my keyboard stickers in the mail a few days ago. Followed a link I found on this board's main page (masterrussian.com) and did the PayPal thing.
They look quite nice.

For XP:
Start > Control Panel > Category view > Regional and Language options > Languages > Details > Russian > Key settings.
I set mine to Ctrl+Shift + 7.
And then of course, you need to set it up so that it switches back to whichever version of English you use, mine is on the same with 6 instead.
I have red keyboard stickers, Ф and ы have just about come off, у is close to it as well as е.
I want to be able to touch type in Russian before I get an expensive new laptop however...
Please correct any Russian language mistakes I make.
I think this is the keyboard in cyrillic after you turn on cyrillic in XP, if you don't want to buy a sticker.
