Does anybody have, or knows where to get, an English translation of the above poem? I have found an illustrated edition with Russian text but a lot of it is quite hard for a beginner... Many thanks. :flazhok:

Try to look for it in old books' shop.
The title you need is "Uncle Steeple" by Sergei Mikhalkov
I found one at amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/ ... ition=used
Thank very much... I think $50.00 plus is a bit steep though  I'll have to get out the old dictionary and work at it! :druzja:
You can do it! And most likely we can help you on the way. :hlop:Quote:
