Thread: Any advice for a beginner?

Well, here's my problem. I'm a teacher, and one of the little boys in the class only speaks Russian. I'd like to be able to communicate with him by more than just pointing fingers and a thumbs up/thumbs down. Can anyone recommend some good websites, books, or any other tool that would be able to help me learn the basics? Just stuff like hello, goodbye, please, thank you, help, bathroom...things like that.
