Thread: why can't I send pm's?

Hi, just noticed that I have a pm in my outbox from January, and two today are also stranded in the outbox. I'm signed in, so according to FAQ, I might be on pm restriction?? I hope it is just rusted out from disuse?

There is a limit on mailbox size. Try to delete your old messages and then release the new ones from hold.

Thanks for your reply. The old ones went through, but I just sent a test pm to you, and it is also stuck in the outbox. I only have 6 items in my folders, so they are not full....

Anything else I can try?

In case any other new people make the same mistake, I just found out that my messages are not "stuck" in the outbox, only waiting for people to pick them up.....They stay in the outbox until someone opens them, evidently. This is different from my other forums, so I thought I'd share, just in case.

How do I know if my pm was sent?
I sent a pm, there was the "Your message has been sent successfully" notification...and after I found the pm in the outbox
