- Never lived in Sweden but assumed that you knew the country
- Assumed that all IT people in Sweden are pretty much the same
- Assumed that all people who have views that are different than yours supposed to live in Syria, Iran, Cuba, or a number of CIS areas
Sounds like you've been brainwashed, big time.

Thanks for proving my point, that is exactly what I was talking about. "Background information" is useless, the world's diverse, every opinion has many sides to it, and every comment has a value by just being where it is.

On the contrary, you are the living proof that regular person is susceptible to propaganda and no matter how many online sources you read and how many "filters" you apply, you can't beat personal experience.

Guess that depends on at what angle you look at it. What I see there is: "just because the person is from Sweden doesn't mean I can possibly predict what his/her views are, as there are plenty of different people everywhere, so why even bother with anyone's location or background"

Isn't it why we ask of an opinion of people with experience?
I mean why would you wanna hear what you already know? Unless you are not looking for an opinion but rather for support of your personal views. Again I challenge you to think of a possibility that you are not free in your thoughts but rather manipulated to think in borders of a certain narrative.
