User Title Displayed Beneath A User Name

    Hello!

Can someone explain to me how the titles beneath the user names of MR members change? How, for example, one has become "Подающий надежды оратор"? How much reputation points one has to receive to become "green", etc.

    Thanks!

How do the reputation points work? I'm also curious.
Вот потому, что вы говорите то, что не думаете, и думаете то, что не думаете, вот в клетках и сидите. И вообще, весь этот горький катаклизм, который я здесь наблюдаю, и Владимир Николаевич тоже…

How many reputation points does it take to raise the rep power? Or are they different things? Maybe I am just not understanding something?

Reputation is how many points you have been granted by other users.
Rep. power is how many points you will grant for a user when approving his post.

I see... so how many points are needed to increase reputation? So I can give more points, of course

Thank you. I don't know who is the creator of this austere (admit it - it is!) system here, but somehow this forum is a bit confusing (at least for beginners). What is more, I'm trying to figure out WHY this system has been introduced HERE. That thing with reputation is good, it can make you become ambitious but I again - can this voting tool calculate one's value? What if some persons are afraid to express their opinion - in posts or even when voting for/against others - or are lazy at times and don't vote, or don't care ... etc.

-50 - User can only hope to improve
-10 - User has a little shameless behavior in the past
0 - User received little or no reputation points at this time
10 - User is on a distinguished road
50 - User will become famous soon enough
150 - User has a spectacular aura about
250 - User is a jewel in the rough
350 - User is just really nice
450 - User is a glorious beacon of light
550 - User is a name known to all
650 - User is a splendid one to behold
1000 - User has much to be proud of
    1500 - User has a brilliant future
2000 - User has a reputation beyond repute
Oh, admins have great sense of humor. I shall give them reputation point since they made me laugh.
I am against any rigid reword-and-punishment approach, it makes your life and you worth less, but I admit I don't know which system should replace it when dealing with "large numbers" (<- people, in the eyes of rulers).
