One more thing: I think the site is EXTREMELY tolerant against virtually all political, religious or cultural ideals.

I can recall anyone from Moslems to born-again evangelical Christians, devout Orthodox Christians and Jews participating - from Israel or elsewhere. In addition, many who are anti-religious or atheists.

In terms of ideology - there are self-admitted Republican members of the US military forces and intelligence services participating. About as far right as you can get. There are also people who say they are Marxists/Communists/Socialists and anything in between the two. I know at least one Anarchist that visits regularly and there are plenty of other free thinkers.
The great majority choose not to own up to any ideology, or their views are mixed, or not set in stone.

I don't think anyone's ever been censored for their actual VIEWS.

( People have got away with very strong anti-gay, antisemitic, racist, anti-American, anti-Russian, anti-communist, anti-fascist etc, etc rants!) Masterrussian allows people to have their say, including rants that would be censored in most other forums.
While I don't agree with a lot of it, it's still refreshing that all opinions are allowed. Political correctness is minimal.

Lampada is not letting her own personal views rule her moderating as far as I can tell. I could personally never stay so neutral!

I think that what is NOT tolerated is when attacks are personal, or if very rude tone/language is used. Quite rightly.

I voted that the level is right. If you want to be rude, aggressive and attack people there are plenty of sites that allow it.
