Thread: PDA theme

Is there anything that can be done to view this forum in a PDA friendly theme. I mean not overloaded with the markup and pictures. I saw such PDA versions on other forums. GPRS traffic is still rather expensive after all.

That's a really good idea to have a version for PDA and mobiles. With my mobile phone I have a problem with markup: the markup loading starts only when the page is loaded and in this way fails many time due to connection interruption. So I have the non-markupped page . It would also not bad if the number of posts per page in PDA version would be about 10 (not 30 as for normal browser and fast connection).

Something happened, oh maybe about a month ago, and I can no longer log into MR using my cell phone. The login screen is there, but there is no way for me to be able to type in my user name and password.

Maybe you changed the default skin?

When I took it to the cell phone serivce provider to see if they could help, they said it had to do with this site no longer being formated for a cell phone and I do remember that before there was a little cell phone be next to MR if you were to google it and now that little cell phone is gone.

I would need to upgrade my phone to a phone that has a different browser in order to log in now.

I totally agree. The only way to login is by switching to “look through the page without adaptation” mode or as it says here in Russian “Просмотреть страницу без адаптации”.
And about View active topics it’s not working for me either. Sad story.
