Will Putin go for a third term?
TATY says: "Under the current Russian constitution, Putin cannot run for a third term in 2008 (you can't do 3 in a row). But at the last election he received a sufficient majority to change the consitution, but as of yet hasn't expressed any intention of doing so. So do they think he is going to try and change it?"

Anyone proud to have been a Soviet?
2CREATV says: "I've recently began to research the cold-war propaganda of the eighties...from vintage soviet posters, to the regan-era super-patrotic movies like rambo and such. My girlfriend and I sat down to watch ROCKY IV and during the scene where they began to sing the National Anthem of the Soviet Union, she began to sing along. I was puzzled because as any young American growing up in the eighties remembers, we were indirectly taught that Russians themselves were having tough times under the Soviet-Socialist system and that after the break-up, Russians were finally a free people..."

The newsletter has been here for quite a while. But there was only two this year (volume 2). We plan to publish it more often.

I think the newsletter should be published twice a day. The first one should contain factual information in scant amounts, and the second the same information but 40 banner ads for Viagra placed at random spots in the sentences.

Good idea But trice a day could be even better. One in the morning for people to read while drinking their coffee. Another in the afternoon before a nap. And the last one in the evening to read in bed.

Even if only would you consider resending the same newsletter once a month until the majestic writer finds the time to create a new version? That would be super groovy. Not that this isn't already my homepage.... but the newsletter gave format to learning.... I should follow it's instruction!!!!!!
