Thread: Can't login in IE.

What could possibly have happened to my Internet Explorer 8 that I can’t login anymore?
I still can in Mozilla Firefox but however strange it may seem I’m not used to it and don’t want to.
I think the problem occurred after I had let the Spybot - Search & Destroy program make actions it claimed would get my system rid of some potentially hazardous activity going on. It all popped up red and flashing that I couldn’t help but get scared and pushed the button.)) Anyway, is there a way to force my IE go back to work?

Reset all IE settings to default.

If another program like Spybot deleted any configuration settings you might want to reinstall IE from here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/intern ... fault.aspx

Or better yet, install Google Chrome.

Try to delete all cookies.

The urge to smash that darn buzzing stupid thing under the table with something heavy is steadily rising while all the attempts to sort the problem out make no effect. )))
