In this forum the rule is that you have to back up statements like that. Maybe you can convince me; My tech skills are a bit rusty. I know a few good techies that I respect, who actually think .net is pretty good. But I have never bothered to find out why.
@Croc.... seriously are you a .net programmer???????
I have seriously betrayed the open source cause though, and ordered a Windows based tablet.(don't tell bitpicker) I WAS going to order a Wetab (see conversation between bitpicker and me in the German forum) but the feedback was too bad. So I am waiting for delivery of this, a Canadian-made product. 11.6" screen!!
"On time, on budget, to spec; pick two!"
Now do you believe me?
translationsnmru - oh you buy M$ ! I feel guilty even for pirating it..
The trouble is that I just don't have time to learn Linux properly.
But that seems to be the best product around. Robin is very pro-Linux though and on principle I agree with him.....
Ok, so if you think the .net programmers are lightweight in general based on the fact some of them are copying an entire db schema into the DataSet and marshal it remotely (just because the examples from MS show how that could be done), you forget there are others who prefer using CSLA.
Get the PCLOS. It's all there. Nothing to learn.![]()
